Lufthansa has now confirmed that the departure times for both LH692 (FRA–AMM) and LH693 (AMM–FRA) have been changed till Monday so that they operate exclusively during daytime.

TripIt and Flighty are still showing the old time for the return flight. In reality, however, the new arrival in AMM is at 3:10 pm with departure at 4:15 pm. This reduces the layover in AMM to 65 minutes (down from more than 5 hours). As this no longer makes sense for me, I will cancel the ticket for the AMM day trip.

The second AMM ticket should also be affected by SKCHG, even though LH has not yet made any changes to that flight. However, there is the general statement that all AMM flights are being changed through Monday inclusive. My second rotation would start on Monday.

For now, I’m flying to ATH and will see how things develop. I may rebook the second ticket so that I do ATH–MUC–FRA on Sunday and then take FRA–AMM comfortably on Monday morning.

For now I’m going to board LX 1027 to get from DUS to ZRH with an 8-year-old A220 (HB-JCF). Later on, LX 1338 on ZRH–ATH with a 28-year-old A320 (HB-IJR).
